iStow, the innovative stowage planning software developed by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), is now prepared to expand its presence in the ASEAN market.

iStow, which was initiated in 2005, has now become a product ready to make Indonesia proud. As iStow continues to develop, its scope of action in efforts to improve maritime safety grows wider. As the first and only loading computer product in Indonesia, iStow is now ready to demonstrate its presence in the ASEAN market. As one of ITS’s flagship products commercialized in international markets, iStow has received funding from the Riset Inovatif Produktif (Rispro) program. This is a form of support from Indonesia for iStow.

iStow initiative to compete in the ASEAN market is expected to meet market demands in the era of Industry 4.0, where most behaviors and actions are based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data. This means that everything must be grounded in effective and efficient actions. iStow is one of the solutions for carrying out effective and efficient actions in the cargo arrangement process on ships. Equipped with automatic calculation capabilities for assessing ship stability and strength, iStow is expected to capture the attention of maritime entrepreneurs, particularly those in the shipping industry across the ASEAN region.
